Need for Speed Payback to Add Online Free Roam Mode

Multiplayer component Need for Speed Payback leaves much to be desired — compared to the previous installment, it turned out to be too limited. But the shortcoming will be fixed this year — an online free-roam mode will be added to the game.

Users will be able to drive around Fortune Valley with their friends and meet other random players. This is possible now too, but only while searching for participants for an online race, which is far less convenient than a separate standalone mode. Ghost Games staff did not share details, but they are already working on this mode, although they cannot name the day or month of the update's release. The authors will announce the exact date when they are 100 % sure of it. The patch will be free for all Payback owners.
