What multiplayer in Need for Speed ProStreet will look like

As you know, the project will feature new multiplayer modes. Let's talk specifically about this aspect of the future project.

One of these innovations will be the so-called "Race Day". Instead of racing against other racers at the same time, you'll be able to drive the tracks on your own at a time convenient for you. But your results will go into a unified ranking system. This is an even more serious test than competing against real racers on the same track. After all, you'll have to improve your time again and again to stay at the top of the ranking system. And the winner of the "Race Day" will be able to grab a prize.

If you do decide to compete in this system, you must load into this special multiplayer mode of the game. You'll be provided with a list of cars for each race. Some cars will be free, while others can be unlocked for extra money. Each time the list will be different, and you'll have to drive whatever is available at that moment.

In each such Race Day there will be a different number of events. There may be several, or there may be only one. Players can complete them in any order they want. You can return to any event at any time and try to improve your result.

A target time will be set for each event. If you complete the race in less time, you're awarded extra points. A won race gives you extra points. Your place in the overall racer ranking is determined by the points you've accumulated. Points are also awarded for damage.

The advantage of this mode is that you don't have to play all night and look for real racers. You can complete everything in calmer and more comfortable conditions. At the same time, the points system is quite complex. You don't necessarily have to win all the time to end up at the top of the rankings. Points are awarded for top speeds in the race, for better cornering, and much more. At the same time, you'll constantly feel like you're competing against other real racers. Perhaps not on the same track. But under the same conditions and in the same cars. Let's see if you have the strength and endurance to be at the front.

EA has previously paid quite a lot of attention to car modification in the "Need for Speed" series. This includes various decals and paintwork, as well as changes to certain car elements, including spoilers and wheels. This year they went even further. Now you can change a great deal. The main thing is that everything now affects the physics model of your car on the road.

All modifications are divided into special lists, which are essentially just sets of components and selections of specific settings. One profile is configured for higher speed, another is tailored for drifting. In each profile you can paint the car your own way, apply vinyls and images. In effect, you can have several cars at the same time.

At the start you choose the tuning level. Quick tuning lets you use one of the ready-made packages. Each package has its own name and its own usage statistics. This is a good and easy path. But you can also use a custom specification to get the car of your dreams.

In the custom specification you can change almost everything. You can tune the engine, suspension, brakes, tires and nitrous oxide. Licensed parts are used everywhere. Some changes will immediately affect the behavior of your car on the road, while others will not change power but will change the aerodynamic characteristics of the car.

After modifying your car, we always recommend putting the resulting marvel through a wind tunnel. This is important, because all changes affect your car and its behavior on the road. Keep in mind that a gain in speed will not always lead you to victory. By increasing one thing, you usually decrease something else. For example, downforce and cornering stability. But the main thing here is not even that, but the ability to create your own personalized car, unlike the cars of other racers.

There are a lot of settings; you can change the brake system pressure, the gearbox ratios and much more. But keep in mind that not all changes made to your car will be needed in the game. It is planned that most of these changes will only work in the online version of the game. At the same time, EA is going to open a special website (www.needforspeed.com), where you can upload and download ready-made tuning sets.

You can watch the settings video <a href="http://vd.reborn.ru/?a=watch&amp;code=52813a850ebaa62583fdb1781fa8be04-00001311&amp;noplay" target="_blank">here</a>
