The Dutch online magazine InsideGamer.nl has published a new video interview about Need For Speed: ProStreet with EA Black Box producer John Doyle (John Doyle). Although the person speaking in the background speaks Dutch, the producer can be understood a little, since he speaks English.
The video itself does not carry new information; much has already been said before, but the info about tuning may be of interest.
If in previous games of the NFS series a car could be tuned with approximately 40 parameters, then in Need For Speed: ProStreet already with 400!
You can go too deep into tuning settings, but in the end save it as a blueprint.
A blueprint is a plan that defines the tuning parts on a car, possibly even applying the blueprint to other cars. This is very useful, since you will later be able to post your tuning on the internet!
If someone uses a blueprint posted on the net in a race and wins, the owner of the blueprint will be marked as the tuning author in qualifying. There will also be special top lists for the best tuning authors.
I think we will learn more about all this during the summer.
