All of us at Ghost are united by one passion... creating the best Need for Speed™. And at every stage of development, we are guided by community feedback. Everything we read, watch, or discuss with Need for Speed fans — whether it's comments on Facebook or Twitter, videos on YouTube, or discussions on Reddit — is extremely important to us, and we bring these ideas to life in the game we are creating. Our PC player community in particular came to the consensus that first and foremost they would like to see an unlocked frame rate in Need for Speed, and we fully agree with them. To this end, we decided to delay the PC release date until spring 2016. The release dates for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One remain the same: November 3, 2015. This will give us the necessary development time to improve the visual quality we can deliver on PC. We will also add the content updates that will have been released for consoles by that time, so they are available to all PC players from day one.
Need for Speed is also planned to become a live service, so we can provide an up-to-date game that constantly changes and evolves. We will continuously add free content updates and challenges so you can earn rewards and keep exploring the game. Since this is a multiplayer game, stable server operation is paramount. In the coming weeks, we will hold a closed beta test on PS4 and Xbox One so you can help us test the server infrastructure and prepare for launch. We are working hard to ensure nothing spoils your game, including by using dedicated servers to avoid such a relic of the past as data migration. We once again thank you for your ongoing passion for Need for Speed and dedication to the game, and we hope to see you on the streets of Ventura Bay.

Wheels
Any good car needs a superb set of wheels — in Need for Speed you have plenty of options. Choose four identical wheels or install different pairs of front and rear wheels. The choice is yours. Choose tires, install brake calipers and the latest brake discs — the variety of choices lets you bring any idea to life. Once you're done with the wheels, all that's left is to try on the rims.
With hundreds of rims available, there will always be something to choose, and you'll also want to make sure they match your car's design. Rim painting is divided into two stages: applying primer and applying paint — each with a full range of options. We'll tell you more about this in the coming days, so stay tuned for news. Adding to the visual side is rim size: from the smallest 14-inch to the largest 22-inch. Choose what you like. In the end, you'll have a set of wheels that reflects individuality, symmetry, or something more radical — whatever you want.
Front End
The first thing you'll notice when working on the front of the car is the ability to adjust the suspension. Choose the right ride height: scrape the ground or sit lifted, or find a happy medium. By choosing the right camber and track width for the front and rear wheels, you can create truly unique setups. Suspension tuning is complemented by camber. By setting the wheel camber separately for both the front and rear pairs, you can create a truly unique car.
Now let's move on to the body. Surely you immediately thought of carbon fiber. Well, it's time for that. The hood is fully customizable, and yes, there will be plenty of carbon fiber. A superb hood needs an equally superb bumper, but what is a bumper without a set of deflectors? Give your bumpers some style, because the front of the car starts taking shape with them. Don't like the stock headlights? Replace them with ones better suited to your model before moving on to the splitter and turning your refined car into an aggressive automotive monster. We've already talked about wheels, and now you're probably wondering about fenders. Individually selected front and rear parts will give a truly unique look, and let's be honest: your wheels deserve it. Finish the visual personalization with windshield tint. Remove it entirely, tint it «to zero,» or find a happy medium. Side mirrors, like the rearview mirror, can also be personalized — you can completely change their appearance. These light touches mean a lot in creating a unique look, and side mirrors are just one of the details that are often neglected, yet so important in shaping a car's individual appearance.
Rear End
Let everyone you overtake have something to look at. Just remember: a rear end without a spoiler is a crime. In the variety of options, everyone will find something suitable, whether it's a barely noticeable spoiler or a huge wing. And if it comes to that, you can even install a double spoiler. After all, two is better than one! Want to equip the stock trunk so that it complements the car's overall design? It's time to get a good sound system.
It would be so simple if the rear of the car were identical to the front, but this is Need for Speed! The rear bumper, fenders, and deflectors can be changed independently of the front, but even if you choose what you need, you'll still have plenty of room for imagination. Don't like the way your car sounds? Just replace the exhaust pipe with the right one, and off you go — to conquer the night streets of Ventura Bay. After that, you'll want to pick a suitable diffuser, and then complete the rear with a new set of taillights. Once you're done beautifying what's in the garage, all that's left is to modify the license plate. What was once a flight of fancy is now your fully modified car, ready to turn Ventura Bay upside down.
Body Kits
Body kits consist of many pre-set options: from bumpers and side skirts to spoilers and more! These kits not only look amazing, but when complementing each other, they immediately give your car a superb look. Perfect for those interested in a ready-made solution for personalizing their car from some of the leading aftermarket companies, such as Rocket Bunny and Liberty Walk.
