Rumors about the existence of Need for Speed: No Limits appeared back in early November. At the time, they were just photos of the «Mustang» with the emblem Need for Speed: No Limits, published by Ken Block on Facebook. Today, however, Electronic Arts officially unveiled its new game project, thereby confirming its existence. The publisher also released a special video in which Ken Block plays Need for Speed: No Limits.
The company confirmed that Need for Speed: No Limits is being developed for mobile devices running iOS and Android. The developer is Firemonkeys, whose portfolio already includes several successful mobile racing games, including the mobile version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted. The project's release date is still unknown. In the near future, the developers promised to shed more light on their new project.
The existence of NEED FOR SPEED: NO LIMITS was accidentally revealed by an American autocross driver Ken Block, after he posted a photo of his car with an ad for the new game on Facebook. Nothing is known about the game's mechanics yet — but it is assumed that it will be free-to-play and released on iOS and Android.

The insane car in the photo is the 845-hp all-wheel-drive Hoonicorn, styled after a 1965 Ford Mustang. The car was shown by Block on November 4 at a tuning show in Las Vegas. The car will be used for filming the seventh installment of the YouTube series "Gymkhana", in which Block crashes rally cars into various obstacles. The Need for Speed: No Limits ad can be seen on the front bumper. It is possible that the new game will be dedicated to autocross.
