First information on Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed

After the first teaser, which appeared earlier today, EA & Slightly Mad Studios showed a preview and revealed a little about Need For Speed Shift 2 Unleashed.

The sequel to Shift will include the official FIA GT license, specifically the game will feature cars from the GT1 and GT3 series as part of the career.

The sequel also has several innovations such as: night races and a helmet camera view (something similar was in GTR Evolution on formula cars). The release of Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed is planned for spring 2011.

The screenshots below show cars from the FIA GT1 series, new cars (Ford Mustang and Mazda FC3S in strange tuning). In addition, two new tracks are shown:nighttime Shanghai and the Australian track Bathurst.
