Is Criterion working on Need for Speed again?

Need for Speed The Run has barely hit store shelves, and rumors about the future project in the Need for Speed universe have already started appearing online.

Criterion Games, known to us for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, appears to be working on a new project. Online magazine Gamerzines found a job opening for a "Cinematic Artist" posted on behalf of Criterion somewhere on the Internet. This fact might have gone unnoticed if the listing hadn't stated that the artist is needed to work on the "number one arcade racing brand."

What will it be? A sequel to last year's Hot Pursuit? A new project under the NFS banner? Or maybe it's about the Burnout series after all? We won't know the answers to these questions for quite a while yet.
