ProStreet: drag mode video
GameSpot.com recently published a new video in which game producer Justin Wiebe talks about new features of the drag mode. The video includes a damage showcase.
Two new cars: Chevrolet Camaro SS and Chevrolet Chevelle SS.
Also a new video with Mark Little.
New facts from the video:
» The demo version will feature 3 types of races on 2 different tracks: Speed Challenge in the Nevada Desert and Drag and Grip on a German autobahn (14 in total are available in the game)
» Only two cars will participate in drag, each will drive in its own lane
» The drag mode in the demo version will be run in a Hemi Cuda
» There will be no traffic in drag
» When using nitrous in drag on powerful cars in low gears, you can "pop a wheelie"
» Checkpoints in Speed Challenge are located approximately 2 miles apart
» Cars in Speed Challenge reach speeds of over 250 km/h
» Grip is circuit racing
» Career mode will be very long (400 races and about 25 hours to complete the career, 40 hours to complete the whole game)
» You will need to have one car for each race type and one spare (5 in total)
» Vinyls are limited to 30 layers
» All car modifications are available from the very beginning
» Every body kit and spoiler can undergo Autosculpt
» There are no replays, only slow motion during crashes as we saw in the video
» Damage is still very modest; for something to fall off you have to hit something firmly attached to the ground at 300 km/h
» The demo version of the game will be available in October
» In the PC version, LAN will only be available after a patch is released.
Thanks Rasmus for the info.
