Cast announced for Need for Speed film

It has long been known that Dreamworks was planning to make a film based on the game series Need For Speed. Today it was announced that actor Michael Keaton has agreed to a role in the film. Keaton's track record is quite respectable, he became famous thanks to such films as «Beetlejuice» and «Batman» by Tim Burton. The Hollywood Reporter staff also reported that Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper and Imogen Poots will star in the film.

Michael Keaton will play the role of the tournament organizer. Cooper and Paul will play racers. And Ms. Poots will handle the sale of exotic cars. That's all for now. The release of Need for Speed in theaters is scheduled for February 2014. Production of the picture is handled by the film company Dreamworks.
