CUSTOMIZATION

At E3, we focus on one of the most important components of the game — car customization. The series of materials opens with a new game trailer dedicated to both exterior and interior tuning.

STYLING

It's not just about speed, right? For many, it's not so much the technical specifications that matter as the appearance of the car. In World of Speed, you will be able to make your car truly unique. Decals and «vinyls» will help you create an individual style, and their variety will pleasantly surprise you. Also, on every car you can change such decorative elements as the spoiler, bumper, hood, wheels and much more. There are indeed many variations of these elements, so you will have plenty to choose from!

In addition, you will be able to place your club's symbols on your car. And if you're lucky, your club's colors will adorn the territories it has captured.

TUNING

All cars will initially be available in standard configuration. As you play, you will be able to unlock and install various upgrades: a new engine, suspension, tires and much more. If you compare World of Speed with classic MMOs, then car upgrades are the character's equipment. Only upgrades increase not strength or charisma, but certain car stats. There will also be parts that increase one set of characteristics and decrease another. Want a more powerful engine? Be prepared for an increase in the car's weight. And you choose which part to install first. With enough upgrades, your car will be able to compete with cars a category above. For example, the «old-timer» Mercedes 190E Evo 2 in maximum configuration is quite capable of taking on the BMW 128i.

TUNING IN TEAM RACES

Team races are one of the key modes in World of Speed. Crossing the finish line first in this mode does not guarantee victory. It depends on the total points earned, which are awarded for completing certain tasks. Victory can only be achieved with the correct distribution of roles in the team. The comparison with classic MMOs is also quite appropriate for team races. Imagine that you are assembling a group for a run through another dungeon. You develop a strategy and assign the roles of «tank», «damager» and «healer». In World of Speed, you assign roles and select upgrades for each team member, and this choice really matters. For example, if your task on the track is to show maximum speed, then you most likely should choose a powerful engine. And if your mission is to drive the track without collisions, then you should focus on the car's handling.

Remember that even if you don't participate in team races, upgrades will allow you to change the car's parameters in accordance with your driving style. For example, prepare your car for drift competitions or turn it into a real beast for championships in «drag»!

You decide which type of racing to «tune» your car for. And it doesn't matter whether it's battles for territories, team races, or championships in «drag» and «drift».
