Patch for NFS:PS

Unfortunately, Need For Speed: ProStreet does not launch and run as well as it should on PC. Many have experienced all sorts of problems, glitches, etc. And all of this should be resolved by the end of December, as EA is already working on a patch for the game that will fix (we hope) some bugs and add support for LAN play.

A little information:

First, many of you have been waiting for the opportunity to play over a local network (LAN), and I am pleased to report that this will be available with the patch that will be released at the end of December. It will also include fixes for existing bugs. In particular, gameplay instability and game crashes - although our team is constantly working on this issue with your feedback and suggestions - we hope that someone will help us by sending a DXDIAG file from your computer. This file will make it easier for us to identify problems based on the specifics of your computers.

To get a DXDIAG file, follow these instructions:
- Click Start > Run
- Type "dxdiag" and click OK
- If a prompt appears, click YES
- When the status bar in the lower left corner finishes, click "Save All Information..."
- Save the resulting file

You can then send us this text document at the address nfs@ea.com with the subject: ProStreet DxDiag

I hope that your help will give us answers to some questions, and remember that all of us in this studio are working to make ProStreet great.
