Next Need for Speed by March 31, 2018
In its investor report, EA confirmed that it is working on the next installment in the Need For Speed racing series, which is due to go on sale by March 31, 2018. According to the publisher, it is the most ambitious and innovative project in the history of the franchise.
Previous games in the series launched in the fall, so there is a high probability that NFS will return after a two-year hiatus as early as November. According to analyst Daniel Ahmad, the focus in the new Need For Speed will be on esports competitions.
The last full-fledged Need For Speed installment was released in 2015. Before it, the series took its first two-year hiatus in many years, which did not help it regain its former momentum.
