Tom Henderson: EA plans to release the next Need for Speed in the second half of 2022

The next Need for Speed, which is being handled by Criterion Games, is expected to release in September or October 2022. The entire Criterion team, previously reassigned to Battlefield 2042, has already returned to developing the racing game.
