«Gibeau mentions new Need for Speed installments from EA. The development of a new Need for Speed installment comes as a surprise (the Need for Speed franchise has not changed since 2002, Hot Pursuit 2); Gibeau has done analytical work on early views from EA's management and believes that making a new NFS installment would be tempting. Note that sales of Need for Speed ProStreet in 2007 did not meet EA's expectations.
