It's now official: NFS Carbon will be released this fall.
Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) has announced that the new installment of Need for Speed is in development and will be released this November. Developed by EA Black Box in Vancouver, Need for Speed Carbon represents the next generation of adrenaline-filled street racing and will challenge players to compete on treacherous canyon roads. "We are proud of our ability to recreate all that has been achieved and continuously reveal new and exciting trends in car culture. Canyon racing is a real test of driver skill, and we think it provides a fantastic gameplay opportunity..." said Larry LaPierre, executive producer of the game.
Racing in the city will take place in the canyons, as Need for Speed Carbon immerses you in the world's most dangerous and adrenaline-filled form of street racing.
As police turn up the heat on the track, the battle ultimately moves to Carbon Canyon, where territory and reputation can be lost on every risky curve.
Need for Speed Carbon represents the next generation of car tuning, offering the ability to design and customize cars.
