Aston Martin Racing cars to appear in SHIFT

Right now, the SHIFT team members are hard at work on graphics material for the E3 conference, but we persuaded them to give us a couple of new screenshots before the studio doors closed for good. We recently looked at the beautiful cars from Japan and the USA, and it seemed like a good idea to get acquainted with one of the finest products of the British automotive industry: the Aston Martin Racing DBR9.

As you would expect from an Aston Martin Racing car, the DBR9 has an excellent track record. This model won the GT1 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2007, just 2 years after it appeared in the world of professional racing. In real life, this car is breathtaking. I think you'll agree that it is one of the most beautiful cars featured in SHIFT.A close look at the screenshot will show you flames shooting out of the side exhaust pipe. Not because it's cool, and not because we added an effect in Photoshop. It's exactly what would happen in "real life", so you'll see flames in the game. Speaking of Photoshop, while we're on the subject, we'll repeat that the images have not been edited. What you see on screen is exactly what you'll see in the game.
