Burnout creators are working on Need for Speed

In the near future, fans of the Burnout series should not expect announcements of new projects in this line. An executive director of Electronic Arts has stated that for the next couple of years Criterion Games will be very busy, as it is developing a certain revolutionary racing simulator under the Need for Speed brand.
There are no details about the game itself yet. However, EA does not intend to dilute the new Need for Speed with elements from Burnout. The publishers are confident that both series need to be clearly separated, since each has its own fans.
