NFS: Shift coming to iPhone this autumn

As reported by Ru-iPhone, Electronic Arts has announced its intention to unveil a mobile version of the racing simulator Need for Speed SHIFT for the iPhone platform. The information was initially published on the developer's unofficial forum, and later confirmation appeared on the company's website. It is reported that the release of NFS SHIFT on iPhone is scheduled for autumn 2009.

Идея выглядит весьма реалистичной, тем более EA уже имеет собственный движок, на котором построена iPhone-версия NFS Undercover. Хочется верить, что с новым симулятором не случится та же история, когда релиз игры был отложен более чем на пол года.

In Need for Speed SHIFT, players can expect 18 different tracks and 65 cars to choose from (including the BMW M3 GT2).
