Car of the Week: Nissan GT-R SpecV

The special version called GT-R SpecV is based on the 2009 model year Nissan GT-R sports car, whose world premiere took place last year.
The exterior of the GT-R SpecV differs from the original by the presence of new elements such as the radiator grille, rear spoiler and brake disc cooling ducts, which are made of carbon fiber. The sports seats of the two-seat SpecV coupe are made by Recaro, a global expert in car seat manufacturing. The instrument panel, center console and some other interior details are also made of carbon.
Thanks to the use of a new boost control device, which instantly increases pressure in the engine's twin turbochargers to produce more torque in the mid-to-high rpm range , an improvement in acceleration dynamics is achieved, providing a feeling of more powerful acceleration while allowing the engine to run at lower rpm for improved fuel economy. Other changes include a titanium-coated exhaust system and carbon-ceramic brakes for better braking efficiency.
