NFS:Carbon ModTools released

According to a news item on the site nfscars.net, a software package "NFS:Carbon ModTools" from nfsu360 will be released tomorrow. The package will include:

NFS:Carbon Geometry Compiler - compiles geometry.bin from .z3d and .obj files.
NFS:Carbon/ProStreet Texture Compiler - creates textures.bin from .dds files.
NFS-CfgEd for NFS:Carbon - exports .carbon files that contain the car configuration.
NFS: Carbon Car Setup - this tool was created to make installation very easy. It automatically creates backups of files for restoring them after the mod is removed. Users can add this program to their mods themselves.

All that remains is to wait for news on nfs-tools.blogspot.com about the long-awaited release "NFS:Carbon ModTools"
