Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit pre-order information

Quite a while ago (since the game was first shown at E3) the opportunity to pre-order the game became available. If you pre-order, you receive a copy of the game from the limited edition, which, in addition to the game, will include activation codes for additional content, such as police Porsche Cayman S and Dodge Challenger SRT8 (if you chose a career as a police officer) or Audi TT RS Coupe and Chevrolet Camaro SS (if you chose a career as a racer), weapons and equipment.
From this it can be concluded that in Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit you will be able to change your character's outfit (or simply choose an outfit when creating a profile) and give them a weapon (most likely they meant Power-Ups as in Need For Speed World, or the weapon will be a decorative element).
The only discouraging thing is that EA have taken the pre-order route, which confirms the focus on the American bourgeoisie.
