Game features:

Realistic driving experience - Need for Speed SHIFT lets you experience true dynamics and imagine yourself behind the wheel of a racing car. Each car is reproduced with incredible accuracy, conveying to the player a sense of speed and the realism of what is happening.
Dynamic damage effects - In collisions, whether with an opponent's car or a track barrier, the player feels the same as in a similar collision in real life - a combination of visual and audio effects conveys the player's state as a driver and disrupts the course of the race.
Full car customization - Need for Speed SHIFT allows players to improve every element of the car - from appearance and interior to engine tuning, allowing a production car to be turned into a real racing car.
Photorealistic cars and tracks - Need for Speed™ SHIFT will feature more than 15 racing tracks, including both real and fictional ones. Famous racing tracks, such as the grueling twenty-kilometer Nordschleife Northern Loop, coexist in the game with tracks created by the developers (Glendale, for example, abounds in elevation changes, sharp turns and blind jumps).
