Tweaking game performance

To get rid of game crashes and improve game performance, you need to:
1. Click "Start", in the Start menu select "Run" and then type: regedit
The Registry Editor will open.
Open the path:
HKEYLOCALMACHINESOFTWAREElectronic ArtsNeed for Speed Carbon
Then double-click "SwapSize" to change the value (in bytes) of the page file that NFS Carbon itself requires.
(by default it is set to 70 MB, but you can set other values).
You can enter any values there:
for example:
200 MB: 209715200
300 MB: 329913700
500 MB: 529715200
700 MB: 749715200

1 GB: 1209715200

I have 1 GB of page file usage by the game... the game became more performant and stopped crashing to the desktop!
