On the Track
I'm in a Skyline on the track,
Not thinking about drag,
Favorite tracks are playing in the speakers.
Green light, the start is given,
Everyone rushes forward and I'm glad.
I look back, two cars are standing there,
The guys have problems, I catch an angry stare.
The tow truck is close, headlights are on,
The cars are taken away, and the guys too.
They mourn, broken race cars
There's already a whole row gathered here.
But they don't want to go to the junkyard,
They'll repair, start, or repaint them,
Petya and Vasya will get behind the wheel:
Then there'll be no pushing through on the track.
I'm in a Skyline on the track,
Not thinking about drag,
Favorite tracks are playing in the speakers.
Meanwhile I'm far away,
Two rivals ahead,
But it's easy to get past them,
I shift into fifth and I'm far away.
And the rivals are hysterical,
After all, after me they'll be shown on TV.
And here it's useless to stick your head out the window,
Shout something, because I'm far away.
Last turn, I'm already pumped,
I sense victory, the engine roars.
I take the cup and go home,
This time there's no chase after me.
I'm in a Skyline on the track,
Not thinking about drag,
Favorite tracks are playing in the speakers.
