Working with music
You will need the following utilities:
Game Audio Player (GAP) - a converter from *.asf to *.wav
Ditty Importer - *.mp3 to *.asf
Extracting music from the game using Game Audio Player (GAP):
After launching it, you will be shown 2 messages that certain plugins were not found.
Go to the section "Options" to the tab "AF-Plug-Ins", click the button under the label
"Audio file Plug-In directory...", specify the folder - the folder with GAP/Plugins. Then go
to the tab "RF-Plug-Ins" and do the same. Restart the program, go to the section
"Playlist" - there File -> Scan Folder, select the folder
"FOLDER WITH NFS 6/audio/music". You can listen to the tracks and export them.
Custom music in NFS 6:
All music in the game is in asf format. The Ditty Importer program is suitable for conversion !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Use the "Browse" button (the topmost one) to specify your *.mp3 or *.wav file that you want
to convert. Use the other "Browse" button to specify the folder in which the *.asf file will be saved.
The "Reverb" slider - the amount of interference in the file being recorded, the "Preview" button - listening to the music.
Use the "Import" button to start converting *.mp3 or *.wav to *.asf.
Then, if you simply put the finished asf file into the audio/music folder, the composition will not play.
You need to replace Track0.asf, or any other one. music.ini is also there, use it if you want.
It contains the track names.
