Since the release of Need for Speed in November last year, you, our players, have given us considerable support and we are very happy to work with you. We have learned a lot from your feedback, and a significant part of it was used by us in preparing free updates for NFS. Features such as manual transmission, publishing wraps, Snapshot Pro, SpeedLists, modification items and much more were created directly from your suggestions. We also introduced hot rods into the game, brought drag racing back to it and once again put you face to face with the famous Eddie.

Since Need for Speed returned, you have spent a lot of time on the streets of Ventura Bay. You have earned over 9.8 billion REP points, taken more than 35 million snapshots, held more than 10 million drag races and completed a total of 52 million Eddie challenges. You have spent an incredible amount of time, 950 million minutes, customizing your cars, which undoubtedly helped you earn 2.5 trillion in-game dollars. You have published more than 700,000 wraps, which have been downloaded by NFS fans more than 13 million times.

Update SpeedList will be the last free update for this game. Don't forget to earn extra REP points by taking advantage of discounts, or get some in-game currency in upcoming community events. The next such event will start this weekend. Head out onto the streets of Ventura Bay and earn an extra 1,000 in-game dollars in drag races. Keep working on your individuality and adding to your sticker collection by completing daily challenges. We have more than 150 of them - there will be something for any car.

Now, using the groundwork laid by Need for Speed, we are preparing to release the next game in 2017.

This doesn't mean there will be no news from us until then - not at all. We will continue to work with the game community and will more than once give you the opportunity to visit our studio and receive your feedback as work progresses.
