Interview with Krystal Forscutt

Question: How did it happen that you accepted the role of the main heroine of NFS Pro Street from EA?

Answer: I met a guy from the Electronic Arts team who was working on Need For Speed Carbon, and then, a few months later, they invited me to take part in a new project called Need For Speed Pro Street. Apart from modeling, this is my first project on an international scale. I'm happy to be part of something that many people will have, and it's truly amazing. I'm so excited about how it will turn out in the end. I'll be very interested to see myself and my character in this game, as well as to play the game itself.

Question: How did your modeling experience help in creating the photos and videos featuring you directly in the game? Do you plan to continue taking part in game projects as the main heroine, etc.?

Answer: I flew to Vancouver to have my photo taken for the game. Since it was my first time in Canada, it was very exciting for me. I was in Vancouver for only 4 days, and all the work was done in 1 day. I spent all the rest of my free time in the city, trying to see as much as possible. At the EA studio I met many of its employees and saw the future heroes of NFS Pro Street at work. It was so fascinating that I realized how much work goes into creating a game. The day of my photo shoot was very busy and full of events, as you can imagine, but it was a lot of fun and everything that happened was completely different from what I had done before. They took a lot of pictures from every possible angle... The animation looked as realistic as possible. If there is an opportunity to take part in any similar project, I would gladly accept.

Question: Are you a gamer? If so, what do you play?

Answer: To be honest, I don't consider myself a gamer, maybe only to a small degree. I played Need For Speed Carbon and took a liking to it. With the release of Need For Speed Pro Street, I plan to play it too, although I can't wait already!

Question: So.. now let's deal with a very important question =): Is it true that guys who drive sports cars are compensating for some of their shortcomings? (we have information that you think so, we'd like to clarify)

Answer: I can't speak for all women, but many of us think exactly that, that men behind the wheel of sports cars try to compensate for their shortcomings and impress with their driving skills. But I think that some hide their shortcomings differently, for example: women go shopping to fill the emptiness of their lives, and men buy themselves all sorts of shiny rattles)

Question: Okay. Which cars do you prefer more?

Answer: I prefer something classic with a lot of characteristic features. Something like a Mustang or something heroic, although a Hummer would be quite boring!

Question: Indeed. Another question... since you are taking part in the NFS Pro Street project, what can you tell us about the game itself?

Answer: Ha, ha... I have no idea at all... I only know that the cars will be very realistic and it will be very hard to tell where the game is and where reality is.
