Drag Technique

First, you will need a good (cool) car. There are only 3 cars in the game on which you can set a good speed and time record. These are:

Mazda RX-7 (can accelerate to 390.11 km/h)

Honda S2000 (can accelerate to 387.47 km/h – My choice)

Nissan Skyline (can accelerate to 381.23 km)

Naturally, that's not all. We will need fine-tuning of the car. To do this, the car must have all Level 3 parts and 3 TJ upgrades installed.

What should you choose when TJ offers us something?

1. Transmission (gearbox)

2. Turbo

3. NOS (nitrous oxide/nitro)

Now our car is ready for the race. There are 4 types of starts:

1. White start (bad start).

2. Blue start (cool start) - Completing the 14th and Vine track in 18.11 (this is very difficult, I can't do it).

3. Green start (perfect start) – Completing the 14th and Vine track in 19.65 (difficult, but doable).

4. Red start (bad start) – bad acceleration => slow track completion.

So let's consider the optimal start – it's Green. Your car will have a 6-speed gearbox.

Start of the game:

After your car appears at the start, begin revving the engine at medium RPM. So, here you are at the start, revving the engine at medium RPM and already a few seconds (milliseconds) before the start you begin moving toward the Green start, i.e. the needle on the speedometer should be green, after that your start will be performed as Green. The first stage is complete, next you need quality gear shifting:

1. After the start, immediately shift to 2nd gear, as quickly as possible, then begin releasing NOS little by little, i.e. nitro (tap your keyboard key as often as possible and at the same time your car will accelerate by itself and your acceleration will push it toward speeding up. This is the hardest step.

2. Next, begin shifting to 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th gear according to the principle described above in the first point.

Tip: Everything must be done as quickly as possible, your fingers must be ready and trained. Choose controls in the game that are convenient for your fingers. My controls are the A key – upshift and the X key – NOS, with only 2 fingers working, the index finger (NOS) and the middle finger (gearbox). A very important tip: Your hands must be warm, never cold; if they are frozen and your fingers act slowly, you need to go to the bathroom and wash them with warm water, after that your fingers will become more flexible. Recommendation: If the heating in the apartment is poor, you need to put on a sweater, a very important element for playing ONLINE. A sweater even warms your fingers to some extent (tested), but I still can't understand how!

When shifting, you need to save one NOS square for 6th gear. This is very important for the record. When you are in 6th gear, accelerate little by little until a flashing red circle appears, then stop accelerating and keep driving; after the needle starts dropping to the blue position, accelerate again up to the red circle, and continue the race. And so on until the very finish. I guarantee the result.

The required speed in 6th gear is from 347 to 350 km/h
