Hot Pursuit 2 (PS2) Tracks
Hot Pursuit 2 (PS2) Tracks — a track pack from the PS2 version of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, ported to NFS: Underground by xan1242. This is a quick “as-is” port: the author deliberately limited it to Underground's capabilities and did not add new features.
What's inside:
* Binary script for installing the pack;
* HP2 tracks in Circuit, Sprint and Free Run modes;
* tracks as they were in the PS2 version.
Known quirks: after the intro cutscene, crowd noise may remain; some rotation animations are jittery; there are no waving flags on Palm City Island; shadow flickering and z-fighting may occur; the background in the track selection menu does not match the original; some objects sound like metal when hit; sun glare is missing.
How to install
- Download and extract the archive.
- Run Binary.
- Select User Mode.
- Open the Install.end file.
- Specify the folder with the installed NFS: Underground.
- Wait for installation to complete and launch the game.
- In the Quick Race menu, the new tracks will appear in the Circuit, Sprint and Free Run lists.
