Xbox 360,
Gamecube,
Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii.
The PC version is not listed among the platforms! The game's release date is scheduled for November 1, 2006. A collector's edition of Need for Speed: Carbon will be released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2. New information about the game will appear next week.Information has appeared that NFS Carbon will not be released in November. The delay is explained by the fact that the period of exclusivity for X-Box 360 and PS2 has ended. The new game from EA Games is due to appear in Q2 2007 for all platforms, among which is PC. It has also become known that the game will require a fairly powerful computer, while console owners should not worry.
Electronic Arts' game conveyor is releasing a new product with similar characteristics. Need For Speed Carbon is more of an add-on than a full-fledged racing simulator, but the publisher still has time, and perhaps it will introduce original features into the simulator.
- A symbiosis of Need For Speed Underground and Most Wanted will be created, resulting in spectacular racing tracks, forest and city roads (25 racing tracks are expected in total), police chases, and coordinated team play;
- The ability to control the camera while recording clips;
- A mass of new special effects, in the form of trees or rocks falling onto the track from a mountain;
- The appearance of special skills: you can become an overtaking expert, a sharp-turn expert, a speed maniac, a master of slipstreaming (moving in the low-pressure zone behind a fast-moving car);
- Three huge locations, 7 separate territories, for dominance over which you will have to show everything you are capable of; The ability to have 100 or more cars in your garage
The action of Carbon will unfold at night. One of the game's main attractions is the winding roads in canyons "copied" from real-life California tracks (one of them is the Carbon Canyon regional park, which gave the project its name). It is there that we will have to compete with "bosses" in a pursuit race, risking falling into an abyss at every turn. Another entertainment will be the "conquest" of districts of the nearby metropolis; true, no one will have to be killed: in NFS Carbon it is customary to dispute territory in a fair car duel. Having captured another zone, you will receive some benefit - for example, a discount on certain parts.
