NFSU2 Extra Options

Extra Options is the largest script plugin for NFSU2, adding a huge number of hidden features, fixing bugs and expanding the game's capabilities.

Key features:

• Race setup: up to 127 laps per race and up to 5 opponents (instead of 3).
• Any track in any mode: drive in Drift mode around the city or Drag in free roam (activated with the End key).
• Content unlock: access to all parts and cars (F5 key), including regional cars (Peugeot 106, Vauxhall Corsa, Acura RSX, Honda Civic).
• Interface improvements: race progress as a percentage (like in Carbon), hiding drift messages, subtitles.
• Car controls: toggle headlights (G key), neon brightness adjustment, autopilot (F6).
• Tools: Debug camera for screenshots, save/load position (teleportation), windowed mode (Windowed Mode).
• Fixes: fix for the “Insert Disc 2” error, fix for disappearing wheels, skip intro videos.

Many features are disabled by default. They can be configured in the file scripts\NFSU2ExtraOptionsSettings.ini.

Installation:

Requirements: v1.2 speed2.exe is required (file size 4.57 MB).

1. Extract the archive.
2. Copy the dinput8.dll file and the scripts folder to the game's root directory (where speed2.exe is located).
3. (Optional) Configure the features you need in the scripts\NFSU2ExtraOptionsSettings.ini file by opening it in Notepad.
4. Launch the game.

Important: If your game is installed in a system folder (e.g., Program Files), run the game as administrator, otherwise the plugin settings will not be saved.
